Passport Information
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months
Laos Tourist Visa:
Visa for stay up to 15 days can be obtained at Vientiane Airport only not border crossings
For stays exceeding 15 days
3 Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed
3 Passport type photographs
Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and one blank visa page
Photocopy of travel agency or airline itinerary
Laos Business Visa:

Your host company in Laos must obtain an approval letter from the Immigration Department in Vientiane to be sent to the Embassy of Laos in Washington. Processing is facilitated if a copy of the letter is submitted with the application
Other Information
A Laos TOURIST visa is usually issued for a SINGLE entry within three months from the date of issue for a period of stay not to exceed 30 days The visa may be extended in Laos for a further 15 days
A Laos BUSINESS visa is usually issued for a SINGLE entry within three months from the date of issue for a period of stay not to exceed 30 days The visa may be extended in Laos for a further 30 days
A multi entry business visa can only be issued after a business joint venture has been established Higher consular fees apply
Passport must have at least six months validity remaining, and one blank visa page in order for the visa to be issued
