FBI Apostille for Panama – Apostille & Courier Providers

VisaDC provides federal apostille and courier assistance for official FBI Identity History Summary reports intended for use in Panama. Begin by emailing your official FBI electronic PDF from the United States or overseas.

$128 per FBI document. Return shipping and applicable payment fees are not included.

FBI Apostille Requirements for Panama

The HCCH status table records the Apostille Convention’s entry into force for Panama as August 4, 1991. When the authority receiving your document requests an apostilled FBI report, the federal apostille is issued by the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC.

Confirm the applicable U.S.–destination Convention relationship and the receiving authority’s requirements before processing. A state apostille on a notarized copy does not replace the federal apostille on the FBI-issued report.

Check Your Application Requirements

Before ordering documents for Panama, ask the consulate, immigration office, employer, or other receiving authority:

  • Does my procedure require an FBI Identity History Summary?
  • Must the report carry an apostille?
  • How recently must it have been issued?
  • Is a translation required, and which translator certifications are accepted?
  • Must the apostille itself be translated?
  • Is the physical apostilled document required, or may a scan be submitted initially?

An FBI report is not automatically required for every visa, residence, employment, or citizenship application. Follow the checklist for your individual procedure.

How Our Apostille and Courier Service Works

VisaDC reviews your FBI report, prepares the submission paperwork, hand-delivers the request to the U.S. Department of State, collects the completed document, and arranges return delivery.

  1. Email the official FBI-issued eDO PDF and completed Authentication Request Form to info@visadc.com.
  2. Include the destination country, filing deadline, and return address.
  3. Our team reviews your submission and provides payment instructions.

Send the original FBI electronic file rather than a photograph or scanned copy. Original paper FBI reports may also be mailed to our Reston office.

Include your filing deadline with your inquiry so our team can review the timing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I begin while living in Panama?

Yes. Email your official FBI-issued PDF and completed request form. Contact us to confirm return delivery options for your location.

Do I need to wait for a paper report from the FBI?

VisaDC accepts the official FBI-issued electronic PDF for apostille processing. Contact us if you only have a paper report or scanned copy.

Is translation included?

No. Translation is separate from the $128 apostille fee. Confirm the language, translator qualifications, and certification required by the authority receiving your document in Panama.

Does an apostille change the FBI report’s issue date?

No. The report retains its original issue date. Check the receiving authority’s document-age limit before ordering.

Can multiple applicants send their reports together?

Yes. Each FBI report requires its own apostille and per-document fee. Ask us to confirm combined return delivery arrangements.

Does an apostille guarantee acceptance?

No. An apostille authenticates the official signature or seal. The receiving authority determines whether the report and supporting documents meet its application requirements.
