Bank statement

Copy of the applicant’s most recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds(at least $200.00 per day), the applicant’s name as the account holder, the balance of the account, and the date of the statement.

Hotel Reservations

Copy of confirmed hotel reservations (Applicant’s name must be on Hotel Reservation).

Business Letter

A business letter from the sending company in the United States. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to “Consulate General of Angola, Visa Section”, and signed by a senior manager, Vice-President or above. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:

Briefly introduce the applicant and specify the employment status/position held in the company by the applicant.

State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Angola.

Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one-year multiple-entry business visa).

Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

An Official business invitation letter, with Ministry Seal, from the sponsoring company in Angola with. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to “Consulate General of Angola, Visa Section”, and signed by a senior manager, Vice-President or above. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:

International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow fever).

Letter or request from the visa applicant addressed to the Consular and Diplomatic Mission of Angola (this letter must be notarized).

Guarantee of means of subsistence, equivalent to US $200, for each day of stay in national territory under the terms of Article 19(1) of Law 2/07 of 31 August.

Copy of the hotel reservation with the official stamp from the hotel.

A letter from the US Department of State addressed to the “Embassy of Angola, Washington D.C. “, giving a detailed description of the purpose of travel, the names and addresses of any organizations to be visited, and the dates of the trip. The letter must contain the applicant’s name and passport number.
