Ghana Tourist Visa Requirements
Current passport
Signature field must be signed & passport must have at least 6 months validity from the day of return.
Passport photos
Submit 2 passport photos. Photos must be 2×2, color, with a white background,
Ghana Visa application
Submit 1 copy of the visa application form. Print, sign, and fill out completely.
Airline tickets or itinerary
Copy of airline tickets or itinerary showing arrival & departure dates.

A business letter from either the sending company in the US or sponsoring company in Ghana. addressed to the Embassy of Ghana

Sample Company Letter of Guarantee
Business Invitation
A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Ghana. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to “Consulate General of Ghana, Visa Section”, & signed by a senior manager, Vice-President or above. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:

- Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
- State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e.. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names & addresses of companies to be contacted in Ghana.
- Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e.. a single entry business visa).

State Department Letter
A letter from the Department of State addressed to the Embassy of Ghana, Washington DC, explaining the nature and dates of travel. The letter also should indicate the name & passport number of the applicant.
