Sierra Leone Tourist Visa Requirements
Applicants who wish to receive their Visas the same day must pay an expedited fee of US$ 50.00 a should submit their application latest 9 am to be collected between the hours of 4 pm to 5:30 pm
Those who wish not to expedite their visa processing would have to wait three business days for the process to complete.
Those wishing to travel to Sierra Leone must have and submit the following:
1- Completed visa application form
2- One recent passport size photograph (less than six months old.)
3- A passport valid at least one year before the date of expiration. The passport must contain sufficient blank visa pages.
4- A copy of the applicant’s travel itinerary or round-trip ticket
Note: All applicants must have a valid & up-to-date international certificate of vaccination (yellow fever).
For minors/Children (Between Ages 0 – 16 years):
1-Both parents must sign the form and get it notarized
2-A copy of the child’s birth certificate must be attached
3-Copies of both parents government-issued identification cards must be attached.

Sierra Leone Business Visa Requirements
Those wishing to travel to Sierra Leone for Business must have & submit the following:
1- Completed visa application form
2- One recent passport size photograph (less than six months old.)
3- A passport valid at least one year before the date of expiration. The passport must contain sufficient blank visa pages.
4- A copy of the applicant’s travel itinerary or round-trip ticket,
Business Letter. A business letter from the sending company in the US. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to “The Consulate of Sierra Leone, Visa Section”, and signed by a senior manager, Vice-President or above.
Business Invitation.
A business letter of responsibility from the inviting employer/company in Sierra Leone :
The letter must be addressed to the Embassy of Sierra Leone.
The letter must explain the nature of the business to be performed and must indicate the duration of visa in need
The letter must include the name and address of the reference to be visiting in Sierra Leone
Note: All applicants must have a valid & up-to-date international certificate of vaccination (yellow fever).
Sierra Leone Official Visa Requirements

State Department Letter. A letter from the US Department of State, sending department, or agency, addressed to “Embassy of Sierra Leone, Washington D.C. “, explaining the purpose of travel and dates of the trip. The letter must contain the applicant’s name and passport number.
